Turn creativity into reality

I’ve found that I often have these sudden surges of inspiration that make me feel like redecorating my whole room or starting a whole new craft art in an afternoon. After a few  minutes, my huge creativity bubble deflates and I start feeling like a hopeless crafter. WHERE DID ALL MY INSPIRATION GO? I knew there was an easier way to utilizing my craftiness. So,I decided to do something about my short-lived creative urges.

5 Things that transformed my ideas into gorgeous articles:journal

1. Keep a creative journal. Write down all of your ideas and categorize them into lists. I find it keeps my projects in the right order and prevents losing any of those magnificent thoughts.ideas

2. Organize, organize, organize! Your “craft stash” should always (or at least most of the time) be stored in a manageable way. Items that go together should be stored together. This is a really crucial one! My creative bubble often starts deflating when I can’t find the tools or material to create my fabulous things.

3. Take pictures of things that inspire you! I often get inspired by odd objects or pretty colours. Capturing something that inspires you on print really get those creative juices flowing.creative

4. Keep a “basic stash”. I’ve found that it helps to keep a couple of different ribbons, buttons and types of material when you don’t have a specific project in mind. When the creativity comes, you’ll have the basic things that are needed to at least start doing something without losing your inspiration.materials

5. Create an inspiration board and put it somewhere visible in your craft area. I really love adding new things to mine! It does not only act as a constant source of inspiration, but it makes quite a beautiful decorative item as well.

I hope these tips help you to take your ideas and transform them into beautiful crafts and gifts!
